We take this trust very seriously, and make it a high priority to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy applies to data collected on this Website. Our Website is intended for use by individuals who are over 18 years of age.

The terms “we”, “us”, “our” and “ZUZU” refer to ZUZU Hospitality Solutions Pte. Ltd. and its subsidiaries and corporate affiliates (collectively, the “ZUZU Companies”). An ZUZU corporate affiliate shall mean any entity (whether a person, corporation, partnership or otherwise) that directly or indirectly, controls, are controlled by, or are under common control with ZUZU. An entity shall be deemed to be in “control” of another entity when it holds fifty (50%) percent or more of voting shares in that entity or has management control of that entity). What information we collect from you

This includes information that can identify you (“personal information”), including your first and last name, telephone number, postal and email addresses, and, if you make a reservation through our Website, credit card information (such as credit card number, cardholder name, and expiration date). We also may request information about your hotel room preferences, loyalty, frequent flyer and/or car rental program information. You can choose not to provide information to us, but in general some information about you is required in order for you to purchase products or services; complete a profile; participate in a survey, competition or promotion; ask us a question; or initiate other transactions on our Website.

Travel Companion Information. When you make a reservation for someone else through this Website, we may request personal information and travel preferences about that individual. You must obtain the consent of other individuals and ensure such other individuals are aware of, understand and accept this Privacy Policy prior to providing us with their personal information and travel preferences, as any access to view or change their information will be available only through your account. We will collect, use and disclose that individual’s personal information only for the purpose of making a reservation.

Information from Other Sources. We also may periodically obtain both personal and non-personal information about you from affiliated entities, business partners and other independent third-party sources and add it to our account information. Examples of information we may receive include: updated delivery and address information, purchase history, and demographic information.

Communication Monitoring. Communication to and from our customer service help desk may be recorded or monitored for the purpose of quality control and for staff training. Communication records will be maintained as long as reasonably necessary and will then be deleted. Any personal information obtained from you during the call will be treated in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Generally, ZUZU collects, uses and discloses your personal information for the following purposes:

  15. facilitating and completing the provision of travel products and services, including providing you with travel confirmation, travel notifications and updates;
  16. facilitating daily operations of our travel products and services (including but not limited to managing your account, billing, customer service, customer verification, technical support, network maintenance and troubleshooting);
  17. managing and executing our service-level agreements with you;
  18. processing of payment instructions, direct debit facilities and/or credit facilities requested by you;
  19. enforcement of repayment obligations (including but not limited to debt collection, filing of claims and retrieval of payments from losses made by service partners);
  20. resolving disputes, collecting fees, or troubleshooting problems;
  21. administering and processing any insurance claims and payments arising under the respective policies;
  22. generating internal reports (including but not limited to annual, operational and management reports);
  23. processing referral payments and commission fees to our external partners;
  24. administering fee adjustments, refunds and waivers;
  25. analysing your use of our travel products and services so as to help us improve, review, develop and efficiently manage the travel products and services offered to you; and
  26. purposes which are reasonably related to the above.

Furthermore, where permitted by law,

  1. ZUZU may also collect, use and disclose your personal information for the following ZUZU. “Additional Purposes”:
    • analytics and tracking, including facilitating the sale of analytical data
    • conducting market research and surveys to enable us to understand and determine customer location, preferences and demographics to develop special offers and marketing programmes in relation to ZUZU travel products and services, and to improve our service delivery and your customer experience at our touchpoints;
    • providing additional travel products and services and benefits to you, including special offers, promotions, loyalty and reward programmes from ZUZU or the accommodation providers directly;
    • matching personal information with other data collected for other purposes and from other sources (including third parties) in connection with the provision, marketing or offering of travel products and services by ZUZU or the accommodation providers directly;
    • leads generation and management for marketing ZUZU travel products and services or the accommodation providers directly;
    • administering contests, competitions and marketing campaigns, and personalizing your experience at ZUZU touchpoints;
    • rewarding you as part of any reward and recognition program you choose to join;
    • communicating to you advertisements involving details of our travel products and services, special offers and rewards, either to our customers generally, or which we have identified may be of interest to you (including but not limited to upselling, cross selling);
    • organizing promotional events and corporate social responsibility projects; and
    • purposes which are reasonably related to the above.

In addition, where permitted by law, your personal information may be disclosed, for ZUZU Additional Purposes, to the vendors or other third party service providers in connection with promotions and services offered by ZUZU or the or the accommodation providers directly.   2. ZUZU may also collect, use and disclose your personal information for the following “Preferred Partners Additional Purposes”:
    • conducting market research and surveys to enable us to understand and determine customer location, preferences and demographics to develop special offers and marketing programmes with our preferred partners;
    • matching personal information with other data collected for other purposes and from other sources (including third parties) in connection with the provision, marketing or offering of products and services (including promotions, loyalty and reward programmes) by our preferred partners;
    • leads generation and management for marketing the products and services offered by our preferred partners;
    • administering contests, competitions and marketing campaigns in connection with the products and services offered by our preferred partners;
    • sending you informational, recruitment and other notification messages communicated by our preferred partners;
    • communicating to you advertisements involving details of the products, services, special offers and rewards offered by our preferred partners, either to our customers generally, or which we or our preferred partners have identified may be of interest to you (including but not limited to upselling, cross selling); and
    • purposes which are reasonably related to the above.

In relation to particular travel products and services or in your interactions with us, we may also have specifically notified you of other purposes for which we collect, use or disclose your personal information. If so, we will collect, use and disclose your personal information for these additional purposes as well, unless we have specifically notified you otherwise.

Please be aware that once we receive confirmation that you wish to withdraw your consent for marketing or promotional materials/communication, it may take up to 30 working days for your withdrawal to be reflected in our systems. Therefore, you may still receive marketing or promotional materials/communication during this period of time. Please note that even if you withdraw your consent for the receipt of marketing or promotional materials, we may still contact you for other purposes in relation to the travel products and services that you hold or have subscribed to with ZUZU.

All information that we collect from you is retained in the servers of the ZUZU Companies. We want to make it easy for you to take advantage of travel-related opportunities on our Website. One way we do this is by sending you email messages that contain information about your travel-related interests. We believe these email messages will provide you with useful information about travel-related special offers available through our Website. Please note that you will have the opportunity to choose not to receive these email messages in any such email we send.

With whom we share your information

ZUZU will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorized disclosure. Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, your personal information may be disclosed, for the purposes listed above (where applicable), to the following:

  1. Suppliers, such as hotel and accommodation providers, who fulfill your travel reservations. Throughout this Website, all services provided by a third-party supplier are described as such. Please note that these suppliers also may separately contact you as necessary to obtain additional information about you, facilitate your travel reservation, or respond to a review you may submit.
  2. Third-party vendors who provide services or functions on our behalf, including banks, credit card processing, business analytics, customer service, marketing, promotions, distribution of surveys or sweepstakes programs, and fraud prevention. We may share your personal information with telecommunications, content or other service providers to facilitate their provision of content or services, or for interconnection, interoperability, system operation and maintenance and billing between service providers. We also may share aggregate or anonymous information with third parties, including advertisers and investors. How you can access your information

You can close your account or request information be deleted, by contacting us at the email address listed below. Please note that after you close an account, if we no longer hold such information, you will not be able to access any of your personal information. However, you can open a new account at any time.
